I`m still wondering that how and when did this crazy idea got stained into my head!  When the COVID-19 lockdown was announced, I spent my daily routine by scrolling down random YouTube videos. And that`s where I viewed the bungee jumping in Rishikesh. Day by day I was getting addicted to watch those bungy videos and I said to myself, "Hey girl just listen; when the day comes, you`ll be there like, standing on the bungy edge, eyes closed and thinking about that day when you first got introduced to that video!"
UFF! I`M IN HEAVEN!

                   Bungee jumping in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand is considered as India`s highest bungy spot with 83 meters or 270 feet. A 15kms away from Lakshmana Jhoola, the 270 feet thrilling spot is located exactly at Mohan Chatti village. The free fall procedures-    The bungee experts and advisers start the first safety step for you- an elastic rope which is actually a braided shock cord are tied to your ankle. There are two types of cord harness that are used in the bungee jump- a leg harness which is joined to the cord and the body harness which holds your back with steady. 

YOU MUST HAVE THE GUTS!

                                         

                 "See straight into the air", "Don`t look down" "Keep your mind steady". Even though the bungy staff instructs you, I`m damn sure that your heart's not gonna stop its running pulse rate before the second you jump. You can even try this- Look around yourselves seeing the green mountains, fresh smell of the Ganga river that triggers your adrenaline level higher, close your eyes for few seconds and register your presence at that moment. 
When the bungy time nears, the staff pushes you down from where the edge you`re standing on and says, "1, 2, 3 AND BUNGY!" AND THE HIGH PITCH SCREAM MADE ONE AND ONLY BY YOU IS ECHOED THROUGHOUT THE SPOT! 
ARREH WAHH!
